The Day of Penance

That thing isn’t really of much significance unless you’re a bishop or an artist. Or a pathological penitent. Today is special in only as far as it’s one of my seven favorite staffers’ birthday. Happy birthday, dear Jose! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ See you soon! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

A recap in photos, please:

Saw the Hollywood phenomenon that is Paris Hilton and got trampled by her fans. See my story here.

Met the Philippine Volcanoes–fully clothed, thank you very much. This is Jake Letts, the captain. Read my story here.

Covered the press launch of the internationally produced Mamma Mia the Musical. I saw my formidable former editor and I tried to hide behind my blue glass of water. Mamma Mia is my favorite musical and after getting a sneak peak of what’s to come in January, my resolve was confirmed: I’m soooo going to watch this. It doesn’t even matter if the tickets cost roughly more than a poor man’s salary. Watch out for my article about this in December! πŸ˜€
