I admit that I don’t have the best fashion sense in the world… barely, really. But if for some reason God decides to take the world, shake it repeatedly causing everyone to have some bizarre alternate life, and somehow I wind up as a celebrity, I’d hire a stylist to make me less of an eyesore to the great public who delight in my physical appearance.
I may not be the best authority when it comes to fashion but even in my normal regular lazy-dress, shirt+jeans, I still know what looks… appropriate for the red carpet, especially one as big as a HARRY POTTER premiere.
I love Evanna Lynch and the character she plays in Harry Potter. A piece for your daily trivia needs: she arrived in her audition dressed as idiosyncratic Luna Lovegood, instantly winning the hearts of the casting directors. Maybe she should have arrived at the Deathly Hallows premiere wearing a giant badger hat and radishes on her ears.
I refuse to comment on Bonnie Wright whom I’ve never warmed up to as Ginny Weasley, even in her miniscule stint in the first film. This isn’t the first time she came to a gala, event dressed as someone’s mother. Her widely criticized very early engagment to Jamie Campbell Bower (Gellert Grindelwald) must be pushing her to look a little more mature (older)–but that shouldn’t translate as matronly.
And my favorite for the night?
I love it! I love her! In a conventional world such as the dreadful one we’re living in now, she’s be first pick for Worst Dressed… but I doubt she lives in the same world we’re in, she’s with Tim Burton for crying out loud. This outworldy talented, eccentric star is so amazing–she can sing, she can act–she can pull off anything, including looking like she’s fresh from filming Sweeney Todd AND Harry Potter. She dressed the part, definitely.

And for today’s daily grind, it’s quite interesting how I’ve been allowed viewership on some Facebook albums containing people I do not know while others (who actually know these people) aren’t granted the same privilege. I feel very loved and honored to be sharing in these fun-filled “fashionably photogenic” and “windy” summer moments. It’s almost like I was actually there. Sorry, I just viewed these albums now, I’m a little embarrassed because I was obviously meant to see them. 😦 Better late than never, right? 😀
